Verdict: A prop firm backed by ThinkMarkets — globally regulated broker — offering the full MT4, MT5, and cTrader suite with accounts up to $400K. Consistent payouts, 4.3 Trustpilot from 600+ reviews, and a free same-size account upon first payout. Strong all-round choice for platform-dependent traders.

ThinkCapital is built on top of ThinkMarkets’ regulated brokerage infrastructure (FCA, ASIC, FSA, FSCA). It focuses on reliability and platform flexibility rather than headline marketing numbers — and the community feedback reflects that approach.

Challenge Types

  • 1-Step Accelerator: Single profit target, tighter daily drawdown. Fast path for confident, risk-controlled traders. Slightly higher fee.
  • 2-Step Standard: Phase 1: higher target. Phase 2: lower verification target. More total drawdown room. Standard fees from $79 for $10K accounts.

Account sizes $10K–$400K. EAs permitted. News trading and weekend holding available. The previously required minimum profitable days rule has been removed — a community-praised improvement.

Platform Coverage

ThinkCapital supports MT4, MT5, and cTrader — all three major platforms. This is genuinely rare in 2026 and allows traders to use their existing indicators, EAs, and workflow without switching platforms.

Payouts & Promotions

Bi-weekly payouts, up to 80% split. Upon reaching first payout on qualifying challenges, a free same-size account is granted — effectively doubling your allocation. Frequent 20%–38% discount promotions make the entry cost very competitive.

Verdict

ThinkCapital is the top choice for traders who are platform-dependent and want the full MT4/MT5/cTrader ecosystem backed by a regulated broker. The 80% split cap and bi-weekly-only payout are real limitations, but the broker backing, platform flexibility, and consistent payouts make it one of the more reliable options in 2026.

Pros

  • Backed by ThinkMarkets — FCA/ASIC/FSA/FSCA-regulated
  • Full MT4, MT5, and cTrader support
  • Accounts up to $400,000
  • Free account equal to challenge size on first payout
  • Frequent 20%–38% promotions
  • No minimum profitable days requirement
  • 4.3 Trustpilot from 600+ reviews

Cons

  • 80% maximum profit split
  • Bi-weekly payouts only
  • Some traders report slow initial verification
  • 1-step has tighter drawdown than 2-step

Mixed feelings

Passed the challenge but had some issues getting my first payout processed. Took about a week instead of the promised 1-2 days. After that, the second payout was fine. Communication could be much better. — CalmUnderFire

Disappointing experience

Had issues with trade execution that were not acknowledged by support. Withdrew my $100 challenge fee after failing but the refund took 3 weeks. Not a scam, just poorly organized. Would not recommend over the top-tier firms. — SteadyReturns

Surprisingly good

Found this firm through a comparison website and decided to try. Passed the challenge in 2 weeks. Funded account has been great — fast payouts and the profit split is competitive. Will scale here. — SmartMoney_Rob
