E8 Futures Review 2026
E8 Futures is the futures trading division of E8 Markets, a Dallas, Texas-based proprietary trading firm founded in 2021. The firm has paid over $68 million to more than 18,900 traders across its combined CFD, crypto, and futures programs and holds a 4.4 out of 5 Trustpilot rating from 3,258 reviews. E8 Markets operates as a SaaS educational simulation rather than a traditional brokerage — all trading is in simulated environments with performance-based discretionary payouts rather than guaranteed funded account proceeds. The futures offering uses EOD trailing drawdown, operates exclusively via Tradovate, and features the E8X analytics dashboard — one of the most sophisticated performance analysis tools available on any prop firm platform.
E8 Futures Evaluation
The E8 Signature Futures challenge is a single-phase evaluation. Traders must reach a 6% profit target while staying within the EOD trailing drawdown limit. News trading is fully allowed during the challenge. No consistency rule applies during evaluation — the 35% Best Day Rule only activates once funded. Futures account sizes run from $25,000 to $150,000 with an 80% profit split throughout.
Funded Account Rules
The 35% Best Day Rule is the primary funded restriction: the single highest profit day must not exceed 35% of total generated profits. This ensures sustained strategy consistency rather than a single large winning day masking poor performance. Additionally, funded traders must complete five winning days (each with net profit of at least 0.3% of account size) between each payout request. The payout counter resets to zero after each successful withdrawal, creating recurring eligibility hurdles. Maximum payout caps apply in early stages — from the fifth payout onwards, the cap rises to $25,000 per account.
E8X Dashboard
E8 Markets provides the E8X dashboard — a proprietary performance analytics tool that tracks trade-by-trade metrics, equity curves, risk-adjusted returns, and strategy pattern analysis in real time. This level of analytical depth is unavailable at competing futures prop firms and provides genuine value for traders who want to optimise their performance and understand their edge quantitatively.
Platform
E8 Futures operates exclusively via Tradovate with TradingView integration available. Force closes apply at 15:10 CT. The firm charges $2.80 per round-turn on equity index futures and $3.04 on energy futures — CME standard pricing with full transparency.
